Workshop Details

Spend three hours creating beautiful botanical art in pen and watercolour with artist Kate Dawes. 

In this relaxed pen-and-watercolour workshop, Kate will introduce you to a range of pen-drawing techniques and show you how to layer delicate ‘dry’ watercolour to create beautiful botanical artwork.

She will offer support and guidance to help everyone develop their personal style, understand composition, colour mixing, and achieve a more confident approach to art.

Kate will provide a selection of winter foliage and flowers for inspiration, and you’ll create an A4 botanical artwork that could be used as a festive / Christmas card design if you wish. 

The workshop is suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced artists looking to try a new technique or explore a different approach to their art.

All materials are provided and for all abilities.
