Something different - spend two hours in beautiful Hopton Hall Gardens enjoying a relaxed botanical pen sketching workshop with artist Kate Dawes as part of the Hall's Month of Art. Suitable for all abilities.
In this 2-hour sketching session, we will use pen, pencil and paper on lightweight boards to sketch the roses, flowers & plants in the garden. It will be more of a 'potter' around the flower beds than a walk. Please feel free to bring your own portable stool or chair.
We will meet at the gazebos and from there we plan to explore Hopton Hall Gardens with lightweight boards, paper and pens to sketch the beautiful roses and flowers.
Suitable for all abilities, from absolute beginners to more experienced artists. All materials & equipment supplied.
You can enjoy the relaxed process of drawing amidst the gardens, and if you wish, you can submit any artwork created to Hopton Hall's Month of Art competition (see below to register).

Price: £27.50 - includes access to the gardens if you have registered for the month of art competition (see below), materials and equipment - including use of lightweight boards.
Practical information
This is different from Kate's usual workshops and is also a standing workshop. Please feel free to bring your own portable stool or chair.
There is an on-site cafe serving drinks, lunches and delicious cakes which takes card payments.
There are on-site toilets & parking too.
