I was delighted to be accepted to be part of Wilmslow Art Under One Roof weekend event. Wilmslow Art is an annual event designed to showcase the very best artists, makers and potters from around the North West. Originally the event was an art trail around the Cheshire market town. However it has become Art Under One Roof as 20 - 30 artists and makers exhibit in one venue, the beautifully restored Church Rooms at the United Reformed Church, Wilmslow.
For this one weekend every October, the Church Rooms become a destination and a showcase for contemporary artists and craftspeople. As with all art festivals, it is an important event that allows artists and art lovers to meet one another. Visitors come to see artwork up close, to get to know the artists and craft people, and to buy art and crafts directly.
Wilmslow Art Weekend.
The Wilmslow Art committee has the hard task of selecting which 20 - 30 artists will be accepted to take part. They look at the quality of work alongside the curation element to ensures a vibrant and interesting show for visitors. The committee has a passion for art, jewellery and ceramics and this is evident in the beautiful work on display.

I was located in the Small Hall at the Church Rooms alongside talented jewellers, potters and craft people. We enjoyed meeting each other and also chatting to the art fair visitors.
