'Maker of the Month' at Derby Museum of Making

'Maker of the Month' at Derby Museum of Making

I'm honoured to be 'Maker of the Month' at Derby Museum of Making Makers Shop. The Museum of Making is a stylishly converted silk mill that sits on the river in the heart of Derby.

The museum is housed in a beautifully renovated silk mill with exposed brick, and a glass atrium. The Makers Shop sits in the impressive light-filled higher-level atrium, with a Rolls Royce engine (a nod to the city being home to the company) dramatically suspended overhead.

I am privileged that my artwork has been selected for the shop that champions the work of talented local artists and artisans. A variety of my contemporary botanical giclee prints and greeting cards are beautifully displayed and are for sale there.

The range runs from large framed A2 signed fine art prints to petite 6 x 4" framed giclee prints. There is also a selection of mounted A4 prints too.

Please get in touch if you’d like know more about my work or are interested in attending one of my Kate Dawes Studio interactive pen drawing workshops or would like me to run one for your event or group.
